NAMM 2016: Martin Guitars Release Limited Edition D-28 Guitar To Commemorate John Lennon's 75th Birthday
Only 75 of these guitars are to be made in the limited edition run, which will be highly sought after.
The back of the D-28 is made from Madagascan rosewood and is inlaid with HD-28 style zig-zag peace sign marquetry. Perfectly complementing the rosewood back and sides is a solid Adirondack spruce top.
Other unique details include a John Lennon logo on the top of the head-stock along as well as his signature inlaid on the penultimate fret of the guitar's fingerboard, which joins a sound hole detailed with peace signs.
