Music can be life-changing, says Jimmy Page

The Led Zeppelin star said a song can affect both players and members of the audience in many ways, such as reminding them of a certain time or place, reports Artist Direct.
"Music can be a life-changing experience for musicians," he commented.
Speaking at the launch of his new movie documentary, It Might Get Loud, Page added that he enjoyed working with U2 guitarist The Edge and Jack White of The White Stripes on the project.
"We're all self-taught guitarists so we have real interesting characteristics," he said.
Page noted all electric guitar players tend to have a "different character" that comes through when they pick up the instrument.
The musician - who is perhaps best known for playing a Gibson Les Paul throughout his career - recently admitted to owning more electric guitars than he knows what to do with, saying he has "far too many" of the instruments.
