Moog Taurus 3 bass pedals up for award
The equipment - which is used by the likes of John Paul Jones, The Black Keys and the Dave Matthews Bands - is in the running for a gong at the 26th annual TEC awards, which are to be held at the NAMM show in California on January 14th 2011.
Moog has been nominated for the 2010 Technical Excellence & Creativity Award in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement, reports MI-Pro.
Cyril Lance, chief engineer for Moog Music, said of the Taurus 3 bass pedals: "Our goal was both to capture the magic and power of the original Taurus I and to expand its capabilities to fit into today's performance and production environments."
