MUSIKMESSE 2017: Introducing the Nord Stage 3 Piano
Featuring a slew of improvements across the board, this fifth generation of the Stage series sports a number of new and innovative technologies pioneered by Nord. One of such improvements is the Nord Lead A1 Synth Engine with featured sample playback.
As mentioned previously, the Nord Stage 3 has been specifically designed for the onstage performer, and as such features a number of exciting practical new additions to its set up. With three seperate sound generating sections(specifically the Piano, Organ and Synthesizer) you can experiment with a variety of different textures and tones simultaneously, inviting a varied and musical performance.
A brand new song mode made specifically for the Nord Stage 3 lets the player efficiently organise their programs for each individual song contained within the library. With this feature you can create unique song lists for different bands and musical scenarios, which may demand a more specific tailoring of their presets. The featured OLED display provides the player with a transparent view of their options/presets, drastically increasing their workflow either on stage or in the studio. No longer must you divert your attention to anywhere else but your performance.
The Stage 3 Piano also brings 3 Split Point and a brand new Split Point crossfade ability which allows the player to choose from 3 differing crossfade widths (Small, Large, Off). These are categorized by a selection of distinctive LED colours which enable to to identify and select the necessary configuration with ease. The Split Point Editor Mode lets you easily sort and found Split Points therefore giving you a comprehensive outlook across all of your sound sources for each respective split zone.
