M-Audio Releases the Keystation Series Mk3 USB MIDI Keyboard Controllers

M-Audio has just released the Mk3 versions of the iconic Keystation USB MIDI keyboard controllers with a full range of creative functions & bundled software.

M-Audio's renowned Keystation USB MIDI keyboard controllers have been updated to the latest Mk3 versions. The new Keystation 61MK3, 49MK3 and Mini 32 MK3 feature compact, rugged designs, and with their bundled software and performance controls, are ideal for both the studio and the stage.

The new MK3 models are (in M-Audio's words), "the latest versions of the world’s best-selling keyboard controllers, with velocity-sensitive keys and comprehensive controls that expand the range of playable notes, expressive capabilities, and enhance the player’s recording workflow."

Featuring octave range buttons, pitch-bend, modulation, volume and record controls, the Keystations are designed to let you record performances without the need for a mouse or trackpad. The 61 and 49 MK3 feature additional transport and directional controls for even deeper DAW integration, letting you speed up your workflow.

The 61 and 49-key Keystations include an additional 1/4'' sustain pedal input to use an external control pedal, letting you play with genuine piano sustain.  The 61 MK3 also benefits from a semi-weighted keyboard for an even more expressive playing feel.

Each Keystation Mk3 model is USB-powered, class-compliant, and supports USB-MIDI connectivity. All three models also support iOS connectivity, allowing you to perform with audio apps on your iPad or other iOS device (with an Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter - sold separately).

A huge benefit to the MK3 iterations of the Keystation is the bundled software, included to let you get recording and performing music straight out of the box.

These tools include:

  • Pro Tools | First M-Audio Edition recording/production software
  • Air Music Technology Xpand!2 multitimbral workstation

The 61 and 49 MK3 also include:

  • Ableton Live Lite performance/production software
  • Air Music Technology Mini Grand virtual pianos
  • Air Music Technology Velvet virtual electronic pianos
  • Skoove online interactive piano lessons
  • Melodics instructional desktop app for MIDI keyboards
  • 2GB of Touch Loops premium loops, one-shots and sound elements

Whether you're seeking a complete music production solution, a live performance controller, a keyboard workstation for your production setup, or just a MIDI keyboard controller for your virtual instruments, the new MK3 Keystations are perfect for any musician with their generous inclusion of software and creative features.
