Level 42 star to open London Bass Guitar Show
Level 42 star Mark King has been chosen as the musician who will open the London Bass Guitar Show.
He is to be joined by the band's drummer Pete Biggin in giving a 40-minute performance on March 12th, reports MI-Pro.
The bass guitar player will then be staying around at the conference, which is to be held in the London Olympia.
King will be signing posters at the TC Electronic stand, as he uses the manufacturer's equipment while playing live.
Last year saw the musician use a RH450 bass amp with two RS410 4x10 inch cabinets as Level 42 headed out on a 30th anniversary tour of Europe.
"It is a real pleasure to be using the RH450 bass amp and RS cabs," he said.
"The high fidelity I'd come to expect from TC Electronic is right there in the sound from the punchy bass to the snappy highs and the programmability is spot on."
A host of exhibitors are set to be in attendance when the London Bass Guitar Show gets underway later this month.
