Lady Gaga's YouTube page back up after suspension
Lady Gaga's official YouTube is back up and running after it was surprisingly suspended over a copyright infringement claim.
The pop superstar, who is known for embracing social media technology, found her page had been made inactive after a Japanese media company raised issues with YouTube over footage from a recent performance.
Gaga had appeared on a show called Smap X Smap, performing a number of tracks from her hit album Born This Way.
The piano playing musician was said to have been surprised by the reaction of bosses at Media Interactive Inc, who made the request to YouTube.
For a while, fans of Lady Gaga were unable to access her page as usual. A notice on her page said that action had been taken to suspend her account due to "multiple or severe violations of YouTube's copyright policy".
It was a big decision to make by YouTube as Lady Gaga has one of the most popular pages ever in the vide-sharing website's history.
She was the first person to get a total of one billion views, which is unprecedented.
Her video Bad Romance alone has so far been viewed 400 million times.
