Kasabian 'would consider Robert Plant collaboration'
Kasabian have revealed they would happily work with Robert Plant if he needs a band at Glastonbury, as long as he plays guitar.
The rock group met the Led Zeppelin legend earlier this year at the Q Awards, where he let slip that festival organiser Michael Eavis is considering adding him to the bill.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan revealed that they got on very well with the rock veteran, who told them he enjoyed their latest album.
As a result, he has said he would be willing to work with Plant at some point in the future, such as if he needs a group at Glastonbury. However, he jokingly laid down one important condition.
"I wouldn't mind joining a band with Robert Plant one day, but I'll sing and he can go on guitar," Meighan commented.
This comes after Plant's former bandmate Jimmy Page told Sky News that he plans to go back on the road again next year.Posted on 21 Dec 2009 22:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
