Kasabian frontman 'leads festive singalong at home'
Tom Meighan has revealed he picked up a guitar at Christmas and led everyone into a festive singsong.
According to the Kasabian frontman, he finds it quite difficult to switch off when he is off the road.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he highlighted the example of the recent Christmas weekend, which saw him get out his guitar and get everyone singing round the Christmas tree at home.
"I'm always buzzing," Meighan commented.
"I really should learn to turn it down a notch, but that's how I am."
Meighan added that he is hoping to enjoy a long career in the music industry and carry on into his 40s.
However, he dismissed the suggestion that Kasabian could emulate the achievements of his friends and inspiration Oasis.
"That will never happen," Meighan said.
Kasabian are currently gearing up for a string of gigs in Australia next month, which will be followed by shows in France and Italy during February.Posted on 30 Dec 2009 15:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
