Jeff Beck: Fender Stratocaster is the greatest invention

Beck, now age 64, is currently on tour in Australia and New Zealand and is described as a "master of his chosen instrument" by the Age newspaper.
The former Yardbirds member, who replaced Eric Clapton in the 1960s, said he finds that he discovers new sounds from his guitar all the time.
He said: "There are only two inventions that matter to me - the wheel and the Fender Strat.
"Every day there's some microscopic difference to what I find in the guitar, some extraordinary coincidence of harmonics that will enable me to hear a scale or weird chord."
