Dunlop EVH Signature Wah draws praise
The new Dunlop EVH Signature Wah pedal easily lives up to the great reputation forged by the company's range so far, it has been claimed.
Aljon Go wrote on the Gibson website that the product is a "must have" for any band looking to capture the sound of post-Davey Lee Roth era Van Halen
"Dunlop/MXR has done a superb job with the line thus far and the EVH Signature Wah is no exception - awesome looks, tone and cost," he remarked.
As with all of his signature instruments, including the Peavey Wolfgang that is named after his son, Van Halen worked closely with technicians to build the effects pedal.
Part of the collaboration process involved him letting the development team examine his specially customised Dunlop Crybaby pedal from the early 1990s.
Other famous artists to have their own signature Dunlop wahs include Kerry King, Slash, Jimi Hendrix and Zakk Wylde.
