BOSS GT-1000: Check Out the Official Demo of this Ground-Breaking Device!
We recently announced the launch of the revolutionary Boss GT-1000 Guitar Effects Processor at this year's NAMM in January 2018 and we can't wait to get it in stock! It features ground-breaking AIRD technology to deliver unparalleled musical response and sonic flexibility.
The first UK stock will arrive in May 2018, so get your pre-order in now! In the meanwhile, sit back and enjoy Boss's own preset demonstration video, featuring over 9 minutes of glorious guitar tones to whet your appetite.
The Boss GT-1000 expands on the popular GT family and features the latest technological innovations to "bring new levels of expressiveness to guitarists everywhere"; it does this with Boss's brand-new AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) technology to simulate the way real tube amps respond. The GT-1000 is powered with an ultra-fast DSP engine to provide 32-bit AD/DA and 32-bit floating-point processing with a 96kHz sampling rate. This gives it the power to keep up with the most detailed amp, effect and cabinet models.
Guitarists nowadays expect a great deal of realism from their amp modelling technology and the BOSS AIRD and processing power helps the GT-1000 deliver models that "live and breathe like real tube amps, providing inspiring feel and authentic tonal dynamics that were previously unattainable."- BOSS
The GT-1000 is equipped with amp and effect models including the advanced algorithms from the popular DD-500 Digital Delay pedal and the MD-500 Modulation pedal. Amp modelling goes right down to the component level of the source gear and Boss's Multi-Dimensional Processing (MDP) technology is used to create a dynamic, nuanced tone that reaches far beyond the capabilities of analogue designs.
Bluetooth and USB promise easy editing and sound capture, while the extensive range of connectivity promises the ability to integrate the GT-1000 with different setups. BOSS considered how guitarists would integrate the GT-1000 with their own live rigs and amplifiers to make sure that the GT-1000 would deliver a realistic response in many different scenarios.
This is the latest generation of amp and effect modelling and is a radical step forward for Boss. If you need an incredibly realistic digital modelling system, this could be your ideal next purchase.
