The BOSS DD-3 has been in continuous production for over three decades and earnt its place as a go-to pedal for countless players. BOSS has decided that now is the time to bring this pedal right up to date with a new tap-tempo feature – essential for creating a range of modern delay sounds.

The DD-3T’s onboard pedal can be used to input different tempos and it’s also possible to add an external footswitch for instant-access control.

The DD-3T also includes a dedicated direct output, meaning you can send an effect-only and a dry sound to wherever you need.

The BOSS DD-8 is here to take the DD-7’s place as the flagship compact delay pedal in the DD family.

The DD-8 includes a wide range of delay sounds including digital delay, vintage analog, tape delay, modulation echo, shimmer, reverse, and more. A new Warm delay type gives you a softer echo sound, while the RV sound blends together delay and reverb. The DD-8 also features a Warp sound and GLT for more ambient and glitchy tones. The pedal is even equipped with a 40s looper allowing for unlimited overdubs!

The DD-8 provides modern touches in the form of real-time control; you’ll have on-board access to tap tempo as well as expression control over the Warp and GLT modes. Plug in an external expression pedal and you’ll be able to unlock even more functionality.

With its huge range of features, the DD-8 is amongst the most versatile compact delay pedals in its class. If you need a single delay pedal which offers numerous sounds yet doesn’t take up all of your pedalboard real estate, the DD-8 should be at the top of your list.
