Then, securely store your files on the cloud making them easily accessible from everywhere.

Avid Everywhere PreviewAvid outlined their vision for Avid Everywhere at NAB 2014.
Avid Everywhere has been suggested to be a revolutionary way of adapting to professional and consumer media needs by finding a new way to powerfully connect media organisations and their audiences.
In a document published by Avid, they say 'the need for innovative thinking in the industry is obvious' as we can access content from anywhere on our own terms and organisations have to keep up with our need for entertainment and information.
How will Avid help organisations to do this?To start with, there's the release of the Avid S6, a next-generation control surface with a modular design and a completely integrated mixing experence for Pro Tools. The S6 is part of Avid Everywhere, the details of which are due to be fully revealed at NAB 2014.
S6 will give users more control over large session than ever, with detailed visual feedback and ergonomic mixing. The modular design incorporates a fader module, knob module, controls, automation and display.
The plain is to 'embrace seamless collaborative workflows', and give media professionals the tools they need to create, optimise, and distribute content together from wherever they are in the world. Cloud technology allows this to some extent, but for complex workflow environments to be available everywhere, there needs to be a single integrated platform.
At NAB 2014, Avid may reveal more details about this platform. We already know it will contain a suite of modular applications, a common interface across web, mobile and desktop devices, creative tools for editing and mixing and a robust data tracking system.
Is Avid Everywhere the future for the music industry?
Other companies seem to be agreeing with Avid that there must be an easy way to collaborate and share the working process. The recent launch of Bitwig Studio revealed that there would soon be a Network Sync function and an online collaboration feature, allowing users to compose on the same project from different locations.
