Arturia V-Collection 6 - Updates To The Flagship Software With 4 New Instruments
Arturia V-Collection 6 is the latest update to the highly acclaimed V-Collection range. Arturia has added 4 brand-new instruments to the software, based on iconic synths and keyboards. The package also includes updates to the Analog Lab 3 and Piano V 2 instruments, with added sound content and improved usability.
V-Collection has long been the software of choice for retro instrument fans. It features Arturia's True Analog Emulation® alongside physical modelling technology to produce some of the most accurate software keyboards, synths, organs, and pianos available. The new collection promises radical updates and 4 new instrument recreations; so, what's new?
Buchla Easel V- The Music Easel, created by Don Buchla in 1973, is an analogue synth that is perfect for unique sound-design. It puts the emphasis on performance-focused sound manipulation and can create some wonderfully ambient soundscapes. Arturia has incorporated Gravity, a physics-based synth engine, into their software recreation of the Easel. This new instrument provides the potential for deep editing and performer-controlled sound experimentation.
DX7 V- The Yamaha DX-7 is a legendary instrument with a rich heritage in pop, electronic and pop music. Its unmistakable sound has been recreated in V-Collection 6 and the software aims to provide a simpler interface to work with than what the original instrument provided. Arturia has included new capabilities such as a mod matrix, customisable envelopes, effects, arpeggiator, and much more.
Clavinet V- The funky tones of the Clavinet keyboard are just as prolific as the sounds of the DX-7, and have been heard on countless records over the decades. V-Collection 6 provides an accurate reproduction of this classic keyboard with an increased potential for sound manipulation. The Clavinet V gives you the ability to alter the physical properties of the instrument and add effects on top of its core tone.
CMI V- The pioneering Fairlight CMI is a sampler and additive synth, released in 1979. It made a large impact in pop music and now you can have your very own reproduction of its iconic sound. Arturia's version of the CMI includes real-time waveform shaping, effects, a sequencer, and much more.
Arturia has included these new recreations alongside major updates to its Analog Lab and Piano V instruments, making this one of the most comprehensive collections of classic keyboards available.
The new software includes a revamped user-interface, to give you an easier way of manipulating sounds. Arturia has also included 7,000 presets for users who prefer to "play rather than tweak".
Past iterations of V-Collection have been tailored for an interactive user-experience. Arturia state that "It’s about more than just the sound. That’s why we labour to recreate the look, feel, controls, and everything else of the original hardware."
This level of user-focused design makes the software highly interactive, just like the hardware that the instruments are based on. V-Collection often goes beyond what the hardware instruments can achieve in real-life, and delivers the potential for some radical experimentation.
If you're seeking a huge range of authentic sounds for your music creation and sound-design, why not add Arturia V-Collection 6 to your collection?
