You need it to take advantage of ILS control &#8211; but it is well worth taking the leap for.<\/p>\n<p>It features two LED pars, two moving head spots, two derbies, a laser, and strobe lights built into the crossbar.<\/p>\n<p>This new version of the crossbar has increased wattage, so there is a higher output on the lights overall. Blue has been added to the laser, too.<\/p>\n<p>These can be used in automatic, sound-to-light, and manual modes. Even within these modes, there are lots of options for deeper configuration. This means there&#8217;s no need to point, you can use the remote from anywhere within range of the GigBAR. And this is amazing for high-pressure events.<\/p>\n<p>Using the remote, you can select specific colours, toggle the head-moving speed, switch speeds, adjust transition types, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s even a freeze button that stops all motion but keeps all lights on &#8211; which is useful if you need to make an announcement, but don&#8217;t want to ruin the mood.<\/p>\n<p>You can also turn different effects on and off individually. For example, if it&#8217;s an emotional moment &#8211; such as a first dance &#8211;\u00a0 you can turn all strobe effects off.<\/p>\n<p>And if you have other ILS compatible lights, any changes you make will be applied to them too.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;72b2aac8-2a26-4106-af58-67527d130293&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Expanding your system&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Expanding_your_system\"><\/span>Expanding your system<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gear4music.com\/PA-DJ-and-Lighting\/product\/4V0J\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>GigBAR Move + ILS<\/strong><\/a> is the core of any ILS system, it&#8217;s not the main benefit of ILS. The main benefit would be the seamless coordination with other ILS fixtures.<\/p>\n<p>Any Chauvet light with &#8220;ILS&#8221; at the end of its name is compatible with this system. If you connect via DMX cable, normal rules apply and you can connect up to 32 fixtures.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to go wireless, every ILS light has a USB slot for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gear4music.com\/G4M\/Chauvet-DJ-D-Fi-USB-Wireless-DMX-Transceiver-Dongle\/1KVB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chauvet DJ D-Fi<\/a><\/strong> units. And there is no limit to the number of fixtures you can use for this connection method!<\/p>\n<p>Each fixture works with the GigBAR and synchronises the way you set it. The GigBAR, itself, is divided into two halves, and you can set your light to follow either one. You can also use a mirror mode, which inverts the actions of either half, creating an impression of a complicated lighting show, when, really, it&#8217;s all quite easy.<\/p>\n<p>So, with ILS fixtures, you can keep expanding your rig without the worry of complicated DMX programming. You need it to take advantage of ILS control - but it is well worth taking the leap for.<\/p><p>It features two LED pars, two moving head spots, two derbies, a laser, and strobe lights built into the crossbar.<\/p><p>This new version of the crossbar has increased wattage, so there is a higher output on the lights overall. Blue has been added to the laser, too.<\/p><p>These can be used in automatic, sound-to-light, and manual modes. Even within these modes, there are lots of options for deeper configuration. But don't think this is difficult to do; the included RF remote makes it easy.<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9723 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/stateless-blog-g4m-co-uk\/2022\/05\/GigBAR-Move-ILS.jpg\" alt=\"GigBAR-Move-+-ILS\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" \/><\/p><hr \/><h4>RF Remote Control<\/h4><p>Instead of IR, like previous models, this GigBAR uses an RF remote. This means there's no need to point, you can use the remote from anywhere within range of the GigBAR. And this is amazing for high-pressure events.<\/p><p>Using the remote, you can select specific colours, toggle moving head speed, switch speeds, adjust transition types, and much more.<\/p><p>There's even a freeze button that stops all motion but keeps all lights on - which is useful if you need to make an announcement, but don't want to ruin the mood.<\/p><p>You can also turn different effects on and off individually. For example, if it's an emotional moment - such as a first dance -\u00a0 you can turn all strobe effects off.<\/p><p>And if you have other ILS compatible lights, any changes you make will be applied to them too.<\/p><hr \/><h3>Expanding your system<\/h3><p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gear4music.com\/PA-DJ-and-Lighting\/product\/4V0J\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>GigBAR Move + ILS<\/strong><\/a> is the core of any ILS system, it's not the main benefit of ILS. The main benefit would be the seamless coordination with other ILS fixtures.<\/p><p>Any Chauvet light with \"ILS\" at the end of its name is compatible with this system. If you connect via DMX cable, normal rules apply and you can connect up to 32 fixtures.<\/p><p>If you want to go wireless, every ILS light has a USB slot for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gear4music.com\/G4M\/Chauvet-DJ-D-Fi-USB-Wireless-DMX-Transceiver-Dongle\/1KVB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chauvet DJ D-Fi<\/a><\/strong> units. And there is no limit to the number of fixtures you can use for this connection method!<\/p><p>Each fixture works with the GigBAR and synchronises the way you set it. The GigBAR, itself, is divided into two halves, and you can set your light to follow either one. You can also use a mirror mode, which inverts the actions of either half, creating an impression of a complicated lighting show, when, really, it's all quite easy.<\/p><p>So, with ILS fixtures, you can keep expanding your rig without the worry of complicated DMX programming.
