The blend knob allows you to achieve the perfect balance between your wet and dry signal. If positioned fully to the left then only the dry signal will be heard. If set fully right then your signal is 100 percent reverb. Adjust this in real time to achieve a unique filtering effect that will either add presence or push a sound back further in the mix.
Tone is ideal for guaranteeing clarity in your mix. When turning the knob left it reduces high-end frequency content. This is great if you desire to create a natural sounding reverb. Turn the knob right to reduce low-end. You'll find this particularly useful in dense mixes to guarantee every instrument is heard. Should you wish to disable this feature then position the tone knob at 12 o' clock
This control enables you to determine the exact amount of feedback within the reverberation tank. This is perfect for creating weird and wonderful pads when manually adjusted. Just make sure you've pressed record as no two will ever sound the same! When set all the way to the left, you'll note that there's minimal feedback. Positioned at the middle, Desmodus will emulate the response of the sound in a smaller room. Create width and wonder through the module's infinite tail when the knob is turned all the way to the right. Should you desire to trigger unique side-chaining effects then adjust the regen control to 3 o'clock.
Incredibly versatile. Desmodus consists of three unique reverbs. Limit mode provides an ultra-transparent reverb. When using this patch, on-board limiting is utilised to restrict the amount of feedback which occurs. Distortion mode is excellent should you wish to achieve that highly-sought after reverb style that is synonymous with Motown recordings. Adding subtle saturation to tame the peaks, if you want to inject "vintage mojo" into your recordings then you're in the right place. Once embraced by artists such as My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, Shimmer is now a mainstay in pop music. From warm pads, to soaring leads. This setting will add an octave pitch switch that feeds back into itself
