The EP Booster was built with the renowned Maestro Echoplex Ep-3 in mind, that was used by guitar legends such as Eddie Van Halen, Brian May and Jimmy Page. The EP-3 is a vintage guitar echo effect preamp pedal, that provides a deep, dark and warm tone, that made it so iconic.
Inside the EP Booster pedal there are internal dip switches that allow you shape your tone even further to create your ideal sound. There is a Bright Switch for shaping the EQ, varying from a normal Flat setting (on position) and a deeper and darker Vintage setting (off position). To adjust the boost frequencies, there is another dip switch that allows you to set the boost level up to +3dB gain.
