The ESP LTD EC-256 features a solid mahogany body with a flamed maple top, creating soft, warm tones with a visually stunning and unique aesthetic. The mixture of mahogany and flamed maple provides incredible depth, offering enough grind and bite to create a well-balanced sound with tight lows and appealing highs. Additionally, the mahogany neck and jatoba fingerboard infuse the guitar with warmth to create a mellow tone, contributing complexity to the high end while keeping the lows thick and creamy.
A set of ESP designed humbuckers provide the LTD EC-256 guitar with its ferocious power - with the LH-150N offering an open tone whilst the LH-150B projects a beautifully bright sound. The guitar also features a tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece to improve string stability, and LTD machine heads to enhance tuning stability. The ESP LTD is also a beautifully designed instrument, with a moulded nut, x-jumbo frets, transparent black finish and chrome hardware.
The guitar's tone control features a push/pull setup, allowing you to switch the pickup settings from a standard humbucking mode to a single coil. By using a coil tap design, the pickups provide a huge amount of sonic-options, bringing you the ultimate versatility. This make the ESP LTD excellent for live situations when an array of tones are required.
