Finely Crafted Guitar
Inspired by the classic 25-1/2" scale, bolt on neck, three pickup solid body guitar, the JTV-69 features an alder body, a 22 fret Maple neck carved to a comfortable, rounded Tyler '59 profile and a Rosewood fingerboard. This archetypal design yields the bright, percussive snap and bite that characterises this kind of guitar, with plenty of bluesy warmth when needed.
Master luthier, James Tyler, has crafted this guitar with a number of features designed to help you sound your best. The neck shape is designed for easy playability and the neck joint provides absolute access to the upper frets. The pickups have been designed by Tyler himself with the humbucker in the bridge complementing the vintage-style single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions. They're all loaded with alnico magnets and wound to Tyler's precise specifications. The custom Tremolo bridge is designed for superior tuning stability and smooth vibrato action as is the premium guitar nut. The long lasting, rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers at least 12 hours of play and LED indicators let you know how long you have left. When you're not using the guitar, simply roll down the volume and the electronics will go to sleep to save power. The pickup bypass function means you can always use the guitar without batteries too.
