Young saxophone player told he can't use the bus
Andrew DiMarzio, 12, from Massachusetts, was told by Lucini Bus Lines that his saxophone is a safety hazard, especially when the bus is at full capacity.
The young musician, who has been playing his instrument for over a year now, is now left with a challenging predicament – how to get to band practice.
Speaking to Fox News, his mother, Cathy DiMarzio, said: "I either have to quit my job if I want him in band or he has to give up band. That's not feasible.
"I don't see why they can't bring another bus down here. I am willing to work with them, but they're clearly not willing to work with me. He's not a problem child -- he's trying to do good things here."
She added the saxophone was about the same size as an average backpack and could easily fit under a seat.
