Yoko Ono hopes for Oasis reunion
Posted on 5 Jun 2010 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Yoko Ono is hoping that electric guitar player Noel Gallagher will make up with his estranged brother Liam and reform Oasis.
The avant-garde musician revealed she was a fan of the Manchester rockers, whose hits included Live Forever, Supersonic and Wonderwall.
Speaking on Imaginepeace.com, Ono commented: "We need the power of goodness like them.
"The goodness is shining from their music."
Ono was married to the late Beatle John Lennon, who was frequently cited by Oasis as a major music influence.
Indeed, one of the band's biggest hits - Don't Look Back In Anger - features a piano motif borrowed from Lennon's Imagine.
Noel Gallagher has openly acknowledged the similarity, saying the piano section was included partly to acknowledge Lennon's influence and partly to wind people up.
Since the split of Oasis, Liam Gallagher has joined up with former bandmates Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock under the name Beady Eye.
