Yeah Yeah Yeahs announce 3-date UK tour
The New York City trio will kick off the tour at Manchester Apollo on May 1st, before moving on to Leeds O2 Academy on May 2nd and finishing at London's Alexandra Palace on May 4th.
The latter date in the capital will be part of the ATP I'll Be Your Mirror event and will see tickets priced at £59 but those fans heading to the Manchester or Leeds gigs will be able to attend for £26. Tickets go on sale on January 31st.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are due to release their fourth studio album, Mosquito, in April which succeeds the Grammy-nominated record It's Blitz which was released in 2009. The album lost out to Phoenix's Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix which scooped the top prize.
Speaking about the album, singer Karen O told NME: "The sound of the record is, I guess, a bit more lo-fi sounding and slightly more influenced by roots reggae. There's a lot of delay on stuff and there's a more raw sound to it than there was last time."
