Yanagisawa's New Saxophones Strike the Perfect Balance Between Playability and Exceptional Quality
The New WO Professional and Elite saxophone models have been designed with the desire to develop the perfect saxophone body, shape and sound. Utilising newly refined key types for optimised comfort a palm key resonance plate provides a fuller and broader tone in the altissimo register whilst a reinforced neck socket provides stability. The WO series Alto and Tenor Saxophones are ideal for the enthusiastic student and for the professional musician, highlighting their versatile application and adaptability.
Through using varying types of metal the Saxophones are available in a wide range of different colours. Yanagisawa Saxophones are handcrafted out of Yellow Brass for Saxophones, Bronze alloy as demonstrated by the AWO2 and Sterling Silver at their Premium end, as modelled by the TWO37. The Bronze mode have a much warmer and focused sound, more suited to the classical player, whereas yellow brass and Silver tend to provide the brighter sound desired by Jazz players. All Models are available in both Lacquered and un-Lacquered versions with silver plated options are available upon special order.
