Yamaha to host charity concert by pianist in London
Posted on 27 Apr 2010 17:00 to category : Music News

Piano player Noriko Ogawa is to perform at a special charity concert at the Yamaha Artist Centre in London next month.
She will play at the venue on May 27th 2010 in aid of the Autistic Society.
The event is free of charge but donations will be welcomed from those attending.
It is part of a series of concerts that have already been established by Ogawa with the aim of allowing autistic people and their carers to enjoy world-class music in a relaxing environment.
"Too often carers and parents are taken for granted and their heroic efforts, love and commitment go unnoticed," the piano player said.
"I hope this first London recital helps raise awareness of this issue."
Next month will also see a special concert take place in London to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Yamaha Music Foundation.
Former scholars who have benefited from the scheme will perform at the Faber & Faber recital hall on May 6th.
