Posted on 20 Aug 2010 09:44 to category : Band / Celebrity News

A host of artists who use Yamaha musical instruments and equipment are to take to the stage at V Festival this weekend.
The likes of Kate Nash, Paolo Nutini, La Roux, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding are all taking their Yamaha gear along to the dual-site event, which is being held in Essex and Staffordshire.
Along with Editors, Passion Pit and The Temper Trap, Scouting for Girls are another group which use the brand's equipment.
A selection of Yamaha guitars were employed to record the band's second album, Everybody Wants to be on TV.
"With their Britpop inspired tunes and great stage presence, Scouting for Girls will be releasing many more songs from the album throughout the summer and performing at many festivals," said Yamaha's website.
V Festival is taking place on August 21st and 22nd this year and is to be headlined by Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, Kasabian and Faithless.
