Yamaha digital consoles have "big advantage"
Posted on 22 Apr 2009 16:11 to category : Instruments News
A sound designer working on one of the West End's biggest productions has praised Yamaha digital consoles and claimed there is a "big advantage" to using them together.

"The different models all do their individual jobs very well, but are similar enough for the user interface to be consistent across them all," he remarked.
He suggested that while the system may be complex, there is nothing wrong with having such a set-up if it creates the best results.
Mr Groothius has apparently been using Yamaha digital consoles for around 14 years.
Among the things he likes about the company's products is that they are relatively easy to switch on compared to other mixing desks.
Oliver! is currently playing at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, with Russ Abbot standing in for the role of Fagin while Rowan Atkinson undergoes surgery.
