Yamaha THR Guitar Amps Announced

Yamaha THR Guitar Amps Announced
Great deals on Yamaha Gear
The Yamaha THR10 and THR5 guitar amps are set to revolutionise the way guitarists practice. The THR series is being touted as "Your Third Amp" - as most guitarists know, the big, powerful amps used for stage performances are simply not practical off stage. The flip side of this is that guitarists rely on smaller amps for home and practice, but many of these have a reputation for trying to copy the sound of a bigger amp, but being restricted by their diminutive size. Virtual Circuit Modelling ensures the Yamaha THR range offers an incredibly accurate selection of high-end amps, including the Marshall JMP and Fender Twin Reverb. VCM allows the exact method of control in the larger stage amps to be modelled, allowing for access to the fantastic sound and effects of a stage amp, without the high sound levels. The amps can either be used with AC or battery power, meaning that not only can it be used at home, but also anywhere else you can think of too! Both amps feature the same high quality VCM modelling, although the slightly larger THR10 enables the use of stomp box effects. Audio modelling on board means that electro-acoustic guitars and basses can be used too. Four different USB outputs and a DI connection, the THR is a guitarists dream recording interface for their computer. Included is Cubase AI software, with which the THR amps integrate seamlessly with zero latency.
