Yamaha Oak X drum kit used for new Kylie album
The Australian star's latest record ? entitled Aphrodite ? is her 11th in a long and distinguished career.
Kylie is the only female artist to have a number one album in four consecutive decades, reports the Yamaha website.
Speaking about her latest effort, the site explained: "Returning to her dance floor roots, this album's beats and direction are provided by an Oak X kit."
Another person to use the drum kit is Gary Powell, a musician best known for his work in The Libertines.
He recently told the musical instrument manufacturer's blog that he used his Yamaha Oak Custom kit when recording a new EP with his other band The Invasion Of.
Powell explained that he had been able to get a good sound from the musical equipment, partly thanks to the ambient feel of the London studio the group decided to record in.
