Yamaha DTX-Pad 'has bought electronic drum kits into new era'
The release of the Yamaha DTX-Pad has been an important landmark for players of the electronic drums.
This is the view of Simon Edgoose, a freelance drummer who will be going on a tour of the UK in June and July to demonstrate DTX electronic drum kits and how players can improve their technique on the musical instrument.
Edgoose stated: "The new DTX-Pad design feels fantastic to play and has brought electronic drums into a new era."
He added that the DTX range has lots more to it besides the Pad, meaning he cannot wait to get going with the workshops, which are to take place in locations such as Bristol, Sheffield and Manchester.
Salisbury, Lincoln and Birmingham will also be visited as part of the tour.Posted on 21 Jun 2010 19:30 to category : Instruments News
