Wiz Khalifa wants Nicki Minaj collaboration
Wiz Khalifa wants to collaborate with Nicki Minaj.
The 'Black and Yellow' hitmaker praised the Young Money rapper for her "awesome" attitude towards the music industry, and revealed he would "absolutely" like to lay down some tracks in the studio with Nicki.
Asked whether he would like to work with the 'Check It Out' hitmaker in the future, Wiz said: "Absolutely. She's awesome. She's a hard worker, she makes really good music and she's really diverse which is important - not only in hip-hop but just in music in general.
"You gotta be able to switch it up and you gotta be able to still be you and that's what she's able to do. I really respect that about her."
However, the 23-year-old star admitted he likes to be "open" when it comes to his musical choices, and never enters the studio with any preconceived ideas.
Wiz added to MTV.co.uk: "I like to be open when it comes to music.
"When I get in the studio, I don't really have anything in mind, I just hear stuff and then we make it happen from there."Posted on 20 May 2011 08:30 to category : Music News
