Wilco guitarist explains creative process

Nes Cline, an electric guitar player in Wilco, has explained the process of how the group writes new tracks.
Speaking to Fast Forward Weekly, Cline said that songwriting is an organic procedure for Wilco with everyone encouraged to make a contribution.
"It's kind of incumbent on all of us to dip into our most creative bag and come up with something that makes the song happen," he explained.
The electric guitar player, who has also played in The Geraldine Fibbers, added that the way the band works does present some challenges.
"It's not always easy to know what to do, and other times I just jump right in. I just want to be part of the orchestra and play the music."
Earlier this week, Marc Rizzo, electric guitar player in metal band Soulfly, told Guitar International that practice was the key to success for musicians.
He said that he feels guilty if he does not work on his guitar skills every day.
