White Lies 'determined to give great live performances'
Jack Lawrence-Brown, the man behind the drum kit in indie band White Lies, has said the group always strive to give an impressive performance while playing live.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, he explained the band set themselves the goal of putting on a show that is a step up on what their fans hear on their records.
"Whenever we go on stage we are aiming to better the album sound and better the feeling that the album has," the drummer stated.
Lawrence-Brown added that White Lies are also concerned with the visual aspect of a live performance, as they feel this adds to the experience for the audience.
The drummer said he feels the group have become a good live act thanks to their constant touring, with this improvement especially evident in the last eight months.
White Lies have a number of UK tour dates lined up for this month, with shows planned in cities such as London, Leeds, Birmingham and Glasgow.
They will follow these shows up with an extensive run of European gigs, with the band visiting Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Barcelona and Paris along the way.
