Weezer planning classic albums tour
Electric guitar group Weezer have announced that they are considering going on tour playing two of their classic albums in full.
Frontman Rivers Cuomo told MTV US that the band wants to play two nights in each city they visit - with one show dedicated to their record Pinkerton and the second to the Blue album.
Attendees would be treated to the electric guitar group running through the tracklist of the LP in question live, a format many other acts have tried out over the last few years.
"The fan response has been incredible so far for the idea," said Cuomo.
"And, if they want to, they can contact their local promoter and tell them to make it happen."
Drummer Pat Wilson added that the band is currently mulling over the "logistics and schedules" of a Blue/Pinkerton tour.
Weezer's biggest hits include Buddy Holly, Beverly Hills, Hash Pipe and Pork and Beans, while their latest studio album Hurley is set to be released in September 2010.
