Website aims to name best budget electric guitar
Electric guitar players have been encouraged to name their favourite budget models to help others take up learning the instrument.
People have been quick to take part in the survey, with instruments such as Squier Telecasters and Yamaha Pacificas already receiving a number of recommendations.
According to MusicRadar, the results of its survey should prove very useful for novice musicians who are looking to purchase their first electric guitar.
The website believes it may also be good for parents who want to buy their child a guitar that "won't break the bank and doesn't sound like a bag of spanners".
MusicRadar added: "We're pooling our combined knowledge to bring you a definitive list of the best all-rounder electrics under £300."
This comes after former Police frontman Sting told BBC News that it is "vitally important" that children are exposed to music and encouraged to play instruments at school.
