Webb Wilder hails Gibson Les Pauls

Gibson Les Paul guitars have been praised by one of their most prolific users - swampbilly guitarist Webb Wilder.
The musician is well known for his unique style of electric guitar playing, which fuses diverse genres such as psychedelia, blues, country and rock 'n' roll.
Speaking to the Gibson website, he credited his Gibson Les Paul with helping him to achieve his signature sound.
"A Les Paul when it's right is an incredibly versatile guitar," he commented.
"It really does have the magic tone."
Wilder added that he is also a big fan of his GibsonSG, which he described as a "real cool guitar".
He hailed Pete Townshend of The Who - with whom he shares his birthday - as one of his favourite SG players.
However, Wilder noted that the electric guitars he plays in the studio are not usually the ones he takes with him on the road.
Wilder, who released his first record in 1986, is currently touring the US with his band.
