WHD Premium Drum Brand Launched

WHD Premium Drum Brand Launched
Great Deals on WHD Drums

Gear4music.com has launched WHD drums - a major new drum brand that matches cutting edge design with premium quality components.

The WHD range includes a number of advanced acoustic, electronic and acrylic drum kits, as well as steel snare drums, drum heads and cymbals.

WHD acoustic drum kits provide pro-level sound and tour-grade build quality from just £329.95 for the full Birch, 6-ply 'WHD 5-piece Swing' Drum Kit.

Featuring a full complement of sizes, styles and colours, the WHD acoustic range is completed with the 6-ply Birch/Basswood Hybrid 'WHD Studio Fusion' Drum Kit (£399.95) and 7-ply Birch 'WHD Rock Custom' (£499.95).

The WHD Acrylic Drum Kit is ideal for the drummer searching for something truly unique.

The Acrylic Kit features all the premium components and build quality of the WHD acoustic range, with striking visual appeal, tremendous resonance and balanced sound.

This seriously cool-looking kit includes 1-ply hardened acrylic shells, polished bearing edges and suspension mounted rack toms. At £749.00 this WHD Kit is available at a breakthrough price for Acrylic Drums.

All WHD acoustic kits feature high-end appointments such as triple flange hoops, key-style tension bolts and high tension, low-mass floating one piece lugs to ensure maximum resonance is achieved.

Double braced hardware throughout, and the inclusion of a REMO UK snare batter head ensures all WHD kits will go the distance whether being used at home, in the studio or on stage.

The WHD 516-Pro Electronic Drum Kit (£399.99) is a fully featured 5 piece set with 29 preset kits, 16 user kits, 7 hi-hat combos and 400 drum sounds.

This kit is suitable for a huge variety of musicians - its ease of use making it ideal for beginners, while its advanced flexibility, such as on board USB, makes it perfect for the experienced player.

Finished in a striking white, the velocity sensitive pads, including dual triggers on the snare and toms, are made from a specially designed mark-resistant material.

The WHD Steel Snare (£69.00) has been developed to provide a loud yet sensitive and responsive sound. Steel construction was selected to provide the perfect sonic complement to the WHD acoustic range, with a bright tone, long sustain and penetrating rim shot sound.

As potentially the most vital part of a drummer's arsenal, much care was taking in developing the WHD Snare to give drummers a superior sound.

Jonathan Meager, Marketing Manager at Gear4music.com, said "we're incredibly excited to bring the WHD brand to the UK market as we feel it offers some of the most professional drum appointments available at this price point."

"From the incredibly unique WHD Acrylic Kit, to the WHD 516-Pro Electronic Kit, each piece of WHD drum equipment has been carefully developed to provide the highest quality features possible."

Jonathan went on to comment, "expect to hear a lot more from WHD over the coming year."

"We believe WHD is a real revolution in drumming - making advanced features highly affordable."

The WHD Drum and Percussion range is available now throughout Europe.

All WHD drum kits are available as a standalone kit, as well as in a package, including everything drummer's need to start playing straight away.

All WHD acoustic drum kits are available with leading-brand cymbals.

The WHD 5-Piece Swing Drum Kit with Sabian SBR Pack (from £449.99), WHD Studio 22? Fusion Drum Kit with Paiste 101 Pack (£499.99), WHD Rock Custom Drum Kit with Zildjian ZXTP4P Pro Pack (£749.99) and WHD Acrylic Drum Kit with Zildjian ZHTP4P Pack (£1,014.99).

All WHD products come with a minimum one year warranty.
