Vampire Weekend extend London tour dates

A UK tour by electric guitar band Vampire Weekend is to be extended to include another night in the capital, according to the group.
NME reports that the New York quartet will be wowing London crowds at Alexandra Palace on both December 2nd and 3rd 2010 after announcing an extra date at the venue.
The band will also be visiting Blackpool, Wolverhampton, Edinburgh, Sheffield and Brighton on the winter tour, which will see the group perform tracks from latest album Contra as well as their self-titled debut.
Fans who didn't snap up a ticket in time for the original gig could now make sure they don't miss out by heading to the band's website when tickets go on sale at 09:00 BST on Friday (August 6th).
NME also recently reported that legendary electric guitar band Guns N' Roses are to play three large shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester later this year.
