U2 to release three new albums?
Posted on 24 Aug 2010 20:31 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Fans of the electric guitar band U2 have been told that new music could be forthcoming from the group.
Lead singer Bono revealed to Rolling Stone that some of the new songs being played live by U2 at the moment could be released in the near future.
He explained that he recently spoke to Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin, who asked why he did not put the best of the tracks out immediately.
"We're not as 21st century as we think we are," he said. "We'd be putting out more new songs online, involving our audience in the choice, if we were really modern."
Those who adore arguably the world's biggest electric guitar band may therefore be waiting for some time for the follow-up to 2009's No Line on the Horizon, which Bono himself has since admitted was not an accessible listen.
U2 recently confirmed that they will be joined by US rapper Jay-Z for their upcoming tour of New Zealand and Australia.
