Treetop Flyers win Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition
Electric guitar band Treetop Flyers have been named as the winners of this year's Emerging Talent Competition for Glastonbury Festival.
The folk-rock group were among eight acts competing the final of the contest, who all managed to secure themselves a slot at the legendary event, which is taking place at the end of June this year.
As part of their prize, Treetop Flyers will have the honour of performing on the main stage at Glastonbury.
Festival organiser Michael Eavis was in attendance at the final to help with the judging and congratulated all of the entrants for giving impressive sets.
The headliners for this year's musical bonanza have already been announced, with electric guitar band U2, indie boys Coldplay and solo star Beyonce lined up to close the Pyramid Stage on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the show respectively.
Other acts who have found their way on to the bill for 2011 include Elbow, Mumford and Sons, The Chemical Brothers, Primal Scream and Fleet Foxes.
Ticketholders will also be able to see the likes of BB King, Anna Calvi, Big Boi, Friendly Fires and Everything Everything take to the stage.
