Tony Iommi 'stockpiling guitar riffs at home'
Posted on 9 Nov 2009 11:43 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Electric guitar player Tony Iommi has revealed that lots of unused song ideas are mounting up at his home.
The music veteran, who co-founded Black Sabbath with Ozzy Osbourne in 1968, said many of these fragments include electric guitar riffs.
However, Iommi admitted that some of these snatches of tunes may never see the light of day.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he commented: "I always write new stuff.
"I find that by the time I'm ready to go back to them, I've already written something else."
Iommi added that in the event of him getting stuck for an idea, he will go back to his demo recordings and complete the unfinished sketches.
This comes shortly after the rock legend, whose hits include Paranoid and Children of the Grave, underwent stem-cell surgery on his hand.
He told BBC News last week that he is making a good recovery from the treatment, which became necessary after the cartilage between the joints of his hand wore out.
