Tom Morello to score Iron Man 2
Rage Against the Machine guitar player Tom Morello has announced he is working on the score for Iron Man 2.
He revealed the news via his Twitter feed, describing the forthcoming blockbuster as "awesome".
Morello has already had some involvement with the franchise contributing to the score of the first film and making a small cameo appearance as a terrorist, reports Paste Magazine.
He is currently working alongside composer John Debney on giving the sequel a more heavy-rock score to complement the soundtrack of AC/DC songs that are also set to feature.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that 15 AC/DC songs will figure in the film.
Following his work on Iron Man 2, Morello is set to join the rest of Rage Against the Machine in playing a special free gig in Finsbury Park, London this June.
The show is being put on by the electric guitar band to thank their fans for making their song Killing in the Name the Christmas number one last year.
