Tom DeLonge: I'm working on films
Posted on 14 Feb 2012 16:16 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Interestingly, the films are nothing to do with the band that he is most famous for being in, but his other musical outlet, the super group Angels & Airwaves.
He is currently on tour with this powerful musical ensemble, which also includes David Kennedy from Over My Dead Body, Matt Wachter from 30 Seconds to Mars and Ilan Rubin from Nine Inch Nails.
Speaking to NME, DeLonge said that two out of the three ideas were currently being worked on.
"The poet movie is a very large, ambitious idea; it's about dreams and near death experiences," he said of the provisionally titled film Poet Anderson.
"It'll have the pacing of a mainstream film, but it'll look very artistic. It'll allow us to create a score album that's very different to anything Angels & Airwaves has done in the past."
Blink-182 fans needn't worry about the future of the band – DeLonge told the magazine that they are still very much together and plan on touring in the summer.
Angels & Airwaves formed in 2005 and have since produced four studio albums.
