Posted on 23 Sep 2010 16:30 to category : Music News

Tinie Tempah is a huge fan of The Script.
Although the rapper is usually associated with Britain's grime and hip hop scenes, his music taste is very eclectic and he admits to being a big fan of the radio friendly Irish pop trio.
When asked which other artists he was looking forward to seeing at celebrations for Arthur's Day today (23.09.10), in Dublin, Ireland - which which mark the signing of the lease on St. James's Gate, in Dublin, Ireland, by Guinness beer's founder, Arthur Guinness - Tinie Exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'm looking forward to seeing Kelis, and I'm going to see Paolo Nutini and I'm pretty excited about seeing The Script - I love The Script."
Tinie also said he was keen for his eclectic musical tastes to be transposed to his debut album, 'Disc-Overy' which is released next month.
He added: "There's loads of different sounding tracks on my album, and I think my album is representative of our generation, I feel like we live in a generation where we can have Muse alongside Jay-Z in our record collections, It sort of very clear to me that the majority of the British public like to listen to more than one different type of music."
Scheduled events for Arthur's day will take place in the USA, the Caribbean, Malaysia and Indonesia and kick off with a global toast to the Guinness founder at 17.59 this evening in Dublin.
Money raised from the event will go toward the Arthur Guinness fund, which goes toward continuing the founder's philanthropic work. For more information, please visit: www.guinnessforgood.com
