Tine Tempah's underwear yardstick
Tinie Tempah loves when girls throw their knickers at him on stage.
The British rapper - who scored his second UK number one single with 'Written In The Stars' last week (03.10.10) - measures how successful his live shows are by how many female fans throw their underwear at him.
He said: "Oh man, that's the crazy part. If a certain song or track drives a girl to do that then it's a job well done."
The busy 21-year-old star is currently single saying he doesn't have time for a girlfriend although he feels "lucky" to get to meet so many women.
He told the Daily Mirror: "It would be nice but I'm just everywhere and anywhere at the moment. I wake up everywhere and anywhere at the moment. I wake up in a different city every day so I don't think it would happen.
There are some beautiful girls out there though and I'm lucky to have met a lot of them."
However, Tinie also revealed this week how he had to break the "perfect" girl's heart when his sudden ascent with debut single 'Pass Out' took over his life earlier this year.
He said: "I was sort of seeing somebody which was getting quite serious about three months before my 'Pass Out' was released.
"There's nothing wrong with her and even now, when I look back on it, I'm like, 'Why am I not with her?' "She was flawless and never, ever did anything wrong. I just thought that before it got too emotional I should end it."Posted on 8 Oct 2010 09:45 to category : Music News
