Thrice ask fans for help following theft of instruments
Rock band Thrice have asked their US fans to be on the lookout for a number of instruments after their storage space was broken into.
Guitarist Teppei Teranishi asked people living in the Orange, San Diego and Los Angeles counties to contact the group's management if they suspect any of the items that were stolen are being sold on.
He explained that among the instruments that were taken was his Black '85 Les Paul Custom, a Black Les Paul Custom Lite, a Rhodes Mark V keyboard and an Acrylic C&C drum kit, which is a one of a kind.
Teranishi said he was particularly disappointed about the loss of the '85 Les Paul, as it had been his main guitar for a number of years.
The musician had some more positive news to share, adding that the band are back in the studio.
"I feel like we've been able to pick our momentum back up fairly easily and we have had a pretty productive couple [of] days," he stated.
Thrice played at last year's Reading and Leeds festival as part of a European tour that also included a show at London's Electric Ballroom.
