Rock icons Thin Lizzy have announced details of their new line-up ahead of a tour of the UK that will take place early next year.
The three existing members of the group are to be joined by Viv Campbell of Def Leppard on electric guitar, Whitesnake's Marco Mendoza on bass guitar and Ricky Warwick of The Almighty as the new singer.
Thin Lizzy's record label Universal Music will rerelease tracks from the band's back catalogue over the next 18 months to coincide with the newly-announced line-up touring the country.
With their British shows due to start in Aberdeen on January 6th 2011, Thin Lizzy have signed up to play 12 dates around the country.
The band will perform in venues in Newcastle, Leeds, Leicester and Wolverhampton, with the final show scheduled to take place at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on January 21st.
Thin Lizzy originally formed in Dublin in 1969 and went on to have hits with tracks including Whiskey in the Jar and The Boys are Back in Town.
