Them Crooked Vultures 'to release second album this year'

Them Crooked Vultures bass guitar player John Paul Jones has revealed the supergroup plan to release a second album this year.
The former Led Zeppelin star, who is in the new band alongside Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme, told Stuff.co.nz that all three of them are keen to get back in the studio as soon as possible.
He said the new record would be recorded "by the end of summer".
The bass guitar player said the band wanted to keep up their momentum, following the release of their debut album late last year.
"Once we committed to it we worked as hard as a young band would, put the hours in," he stated.
"It's got to be good - we've got reputations to uphold more than anything else."
Last month, Sir Paul McCartney revealed that he had asked Dave Grohl if he could be the bass guitar player in Them Crooked Vultures but was told Jones had been given the role already, reported the Daily Mail.
