The Wombats announce new tour dates
Electric guitar group The Wombats have announced details of a new tour that will take place early next year.
The indie band are to play a host of shows across the UK and Ireland in January 2011, starting with a gig in Belfast on January 11th.
They will then move on to visit cities including Dublin, Edinburgh, Dundee and Newcastle, reports NME.
Further performances in Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and Sheffield are also on the itinerary for The Wombats during the tour.
The run of shows will come to an end at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on January 28th.
Last month, the electric guitar band's drummer Dan Haggis explained that the group's second album has been recorded in a different manner to their debut effort.
"The first album was practically recorded live with a few overdubs. This time round we've had the time to really play with the sonics," he stated.
