The Wombats announce comeback details
Posted on 11 Aug 2010 16:35 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Indie band The Wombats are planning to release their second album before the end of the year.
The group's comeback single is to come out on September 27th 2010 and will be entitled Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves).
Dan Haggis, the man behind the drum kit in the band, said that the group changed their recording methods for their second record.
"The first album was practically recorded live with a few overdubs. This time round we've had the time to really play with the sonics," the drummer explained.
A title for the new record - which was partly recorded in Los Angeles – has yet to be decided on by The Wombats.
Details of a full UK tour are to be released by the band in the next few weeks.
The band are to play a series of shows in Australia in September and October, including appearances in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.
